Hi John, the Ilkley Moor alien photo deserves a revisit and of course I am aware of it. But I recall that even back in the 80s it was very difficult to make any progress as the photographer's identity never emerged and was protected from independent scrutiny by a pair of UFOlogists who were promoting it at the time.
Hi David, who were the pair of UFOlogists you mention? Wonder if they are still around? Would be fascinating to see if they might be willing to discuss the case all these years on.
On a different note but still on Ilkley Moor, I recently read a pretty wild account of an encounter by Paul Bennett of the Northern Antiquarian site at the Backstone Circle up there
Have you ever covered the Ilkley Moor incident and photograph? It would be interesting hear any modern analysis of the photograph if it still exists somewhere. Think I read on good ole’ wiki that Nick Pope, Peter Haugh and Jenny Randles had some involvement too.
As a place there’s plenty of folkloric interest there with accounts of the strange and spooky and the story has the classic timeslip thing too and apparently the follow up by the MIB spooks.

Sounds very interesting. I've been following the Weird Walk website and hope this is a growing trend.
Huge congratulations.....and what a journey to get it... and now the folklore adventures begin!!!
